Constructability reviews are a valuable exercise as they can identify in the design phase assemblies which, if left as designed, are often discovered to be difficult or even impossible to build. The ramifications of not performing constructability reviews are seen in cost increases and schedule delays. If we discover an assembly, that with minor design modifications, can be built more efficiently or at a lower cost, we will present our ideas for consideration at regularly scheduled design review or team meetings. Midwest Construction Partners Estimators utilize an Excel-based data loaded software application developed exclusively by Midwest Construction Partners, and deployed throughout the company. We have the capability to perform detailed conceptual, schematic and design development estimates, quantity surveys and pricing from historical and regional databases. Secondary methods include utilization of subcontractors and trade vendors for input.
